Introducing Enobase Catering
One system to run event catering operations, from the first client brief to the final invoice, with AI where it makes sense.
Enobase is launching Enobase Catering, its first industry-specific software, built around AI for event caterers.
Caterers have complex operations that current tools can't solve
Today, caterers spend more time managing their business than producing events. Their operations are complex, requiring them to juggle quotes, event briefs, production planning, staffing and invoicing.
Generic ERPs and CRMs don't offer the flexibility needed to tackle this complexity. Existing industry-specific tools only cover parts of their operations, such as staffing or invoicing. Caterers have to turn to spreadsheets, vibe coding and manual entry to fill the gaps.
The challenge isn't to add another tool, but to rethink their operations as one system: a single platform to run their business, where AI can become a collaborator instead of a gadget.
“We paid for two years of a catering system that was ‘going to evolve’. It never did. Six months in, the team had quietly gone back to spreadsheets.”
Quentin Guinand, Owner at Quent On A Faim
A complete system for event catering, with AI where it makes sense
Instead of adding AI features on top of existing tools, Enobase Catering started from a blank slate. The team met with over 160 caterers to understand their operations in depth, then built a system where event caterers can run their entire operation:
- CRM
- Email tracking
- Custom quotes
- Event briefs
- Production sheets
- Kitchen planning
- Vehicle management
- Staffing
- Invoicing
These modules communicate with each other, all using the same data. Built on the Enobase platform, they enable Enobase Agents to help event caterers run their business:
- Drafting quotes based on client emails
- Helping caterers come up with new recipes using their existing recipe base and ingredients
- Helping business owners understand their margins
The platform was co-built with more than 20 caterers in France and Belgium, including Freddy Met Curry, Jérôme Degrave, Quent On A Faim and Food Lovers, who have all integrated it at the heart of their operations.
They report gains in efficiency, clarity and margins thanks to Enobase Catering.
“We used to meet every Tuesday morning just to check nothing got lost between the quote and the kitchen. We haven’t had that meeting since March — sales, kitchen and logistics all read the same plan now.”
Jérémie Lambin, Owner at Freddy Met Curry
Event catering is the first industry in a broader ambition
Enobase wants to become the reference for event catering globally. But this is just a starting point.
The problems caterers face are specific to their industry, but the way they're being solved can be generalized. Enobase is building the platform on which any industry can be modeled as one system to run all its operations.
AI is changing how we build, distribute and use software. This creates an opportunity to rethink the platform on which businesses run and create dedicated systems that work with AI in every industry.
“We’re already working with clients in 5 new industries. It’s just the start, but this is how we got started in catering - and now the platform is ready to tackle multiple industries at once.”
Gauthier Rodaro, CEO at Enobase
