    Does the DX-200 controller take a 24 V supply?

    Léa FontaineAtelier Nord3 Sep, 09:40

We are wiring three DX-200s into a showroom ceiling and the only spare rail in the panel is 24 V DC. The datasheet gives the range as 12–24 V, but the installation sheet only draws the 12 V case. Is 24 V fine on the same terminals, and does the fuse rating change with it?

12 to 24 V DC on the terminals marked V+ and V−, fuse at 2 A. The range is the same on every DX-200 shipped since revision C, so your 24 V rail is fine as it stands and the fuse does not change with the supply.

Read the revision stamped on the back plate before you wire anything. Revision C and later take the full range. The revision B boards we shipped through 2023 are 12 V only, and a 24 V rail will not leave one of those working.

All three of ours are revision D, so we are clear. Thank you both.

Good. If a revision B does turn up on the site, there is a trade-in against it until the end of the year.
