Can purchase orders require approval?

Yes. Your purchasing policy can determine which orders need review, for example when the amount exceeds a threshold. You choose who approves them and which steps are required before sending the order.

How do I know what stock is available?

Physical quantities, reservations and quarantine status show the difference between what you hold and what is available for a new order or job. Available stock excludes quantities that are already committed or unavailable.
